I am a freelance writer, presenter and commercial radio newsreader.

Somewhere in between those creative dabbles, I became a lawyer, integrating myself into the industries of banking, wine production and caravan parks (yes, that’s a real job). Basically, I know a lot about Champagne, small towns you’ve never heard of, and pieces of legislation you’d never want to read.

It’s paid-off: in 2022, my lovely peers at the Association of Corporate Counsel named me their National In-house Lawyer of the Year.

But back to my creative efforts: my first published prose was a short story which appeared in the anthology Alone, Together, in 2007. Soon after, I became distracted by a legal career, life, and having children.

In 2023, I decided to stop doing what everyone else wanted me to do and focused on what I love: time with my sons and writing.

So I joined Writers SA (and my local playgroup), and wrote my first manuscript.
